This PLB can include GPS coordinates in the emergency satellite transmission via a handheld GPS, using the optical interface or using the onboard, internal GPS built right into the PLB. ACR's FastACQ technology relays accurate GPS information to the satellites faster than all other internal GPS PLBs. Includes durable rubber holster allows the user to attach the PLB to webbing straps, carabiners, D-Rings, PFDs, belts or climbing harnesses. All ACR PLBs are made to exceed the rigorous testing standards of COSPAS-SARSAT, FCC, NOAA, U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Air Force Rescue Coordination Center for durability, waterproof, floatation, high visibility and extreme operating temperatures at a minimum of 24 hours at -20C (longer at warmer ambient temperatures).
